Programme Structure
The programme consists of 33 hours of coursework and 3 hours of a project paper making a total of 36 credit hours which may be completed in 3 semesters (4 courses or 12 credits per semester) but students may complete the programme in a shorter period.

C) PXGT 6190 Kertas Projek  (3 credits - compulsory)
For the project paper, candidates are required to undertake supervised work in an area of study in the field of instructional technology.
Masters of Instructional Technology (MIT)

Introduction
The Masters of Instructional Technology (MIT) was designed specifically to meet the increasing demands of schools, colleges, industrial, business and government training centres requiring qualified instructors, lecturers, trainers and instructonal designers equipped with the latest technologies in instructional development. The 'instruction' component deals with aspects relating to instructional design, psychology of learning, various instructional strategies and delivery approaches such as in distance teaching. The 'technology' component deals with the tools of information and communication technology such as the internet, the web as a delivery platform, multimedia presentations, essentials of networking, applications to educational management and some exposure to programming.

Target Audience
The Masters of Instructional Technology (MIT) is a programme targetted specifically at the following individuals:
- teachers in government and private schools
- trainers in industry and business
- trainers in governmental agencies and non-government organisations
- lecturers and instructors in institutions of higher education
- individuals developing courseware for education and training in industry
